Etsy site back up

Well, I've re-listed the spindles, but still don't have most of the larger ones listed yet. I've got pictures of them, but haven't had time to write up the descriptions. Maybe I can get more up over Christmas.

On the family front: sister (the one formerly in Bolivia) is starting massage school in a couple weeks and the brother and wife have arrived safely for their year in the Gambia, West Africa.

Happy Holidays, folks.

Long time, no see

Well, I haven't been on here in a while, so if there are regular blog-checkers, I'm sorry for my inconsistency. We moved this summer and school has restarted. I haven't decided on whether I'll do the Pumpkin Fest at Cestari Farms or not...

AND my brother and his wife are going to The Gambia in a couple months, for a year of voluntary service that they have to raise all their own support for. In fact, their commissioning service is on Sunday the 13th... Their blog is at http://eliasandjess.blogspot.com/
Just thought I'd put it out there if people want to go look. They don't really explain much there because they are more face to face people, than blogger people, but there it is. Email and ask for details, it is pretty cool.
I have to admit to being a little worried, with his medical condition and being in another country, far from home... But my parents didn't really raise us to be the stay-at-home-when-people-need-help types, so off they are going, into the unknown.

I'm back, well, sort of...

Ok, so I've been off here for a long time. Some of that time was spent packing and moving our household, some was spent creating new spindles and some of it at wool shows. In the next few days, I plan to get the etsy site back up and running as well as getting updates to the dotcom site.
Check out the changes happening at:

Live from Cestari!! Well, OK, technically it is nighttime now...

Woohoo! I'm at Cestari's Spring Wool Fair this weekend. Y'all should come out and see us. Cestari Farm is in Churchville, VA and has some cool stuff happening. Some of us are demonstrating various spinning related skills, some are selling fruits and vegetables, somebody further down is selling honey and I think apple juice. The weather was gorgeous and sunny! I am really glad we had the canopy set up, because I would have been cooked. I sold four spindles, three of which were the natural type that my Hubby favors. We'll see what happens tomorrow. I'd love to see some of you who have read the blog and came out and see us.
We will also be at Sedalia again this year, if you miss us at Cestari.

Wow, I finished listing some of the new items

So, here are several of the listings, not all of them, but most of what's at etsy right now. I will continue to add the large spindles onto the site. I noticed that my supply of large natural spindles with detail is gone, and I'm out of snowflakes, mice and student spindles. I've got a lot of work ahead me as I prepare for the show season.

Are we there yet?

Holy cow, I finally have a chance to sit down and try to update my Etsy and .com sites and blog a little. Well, not really, but I am actively avoiding something I know I should be doing, namely exercising, but who's keeping track anyway?
I will be adding the large spindles to the etsy site today, and hopefully updating the .com to list upcoming shows I'll be at.
Now, I just need to get off here and back to the updating.
Remember, if you want to see the new spindles, they'll be at SpindlesandMore.com, with the etsy link listed.

See you there.
